Connor Hellebuyck put in his best performance of the playoffs so far in Game 2, shutting out the high-powered Dallas Stars in a 4-0 win. It was a confidence-boosting game for the netminder, who said getting through the first round took a weight off his shoulders.
His play at home hasn’t been the issue this post-season, however, but how he’s fared on the road. He’s yet to finish a game played away from Canada Life Centre, needing to be replaced by Eric Comrie in each of the three road games in the series with the St. Louis Blues. We’ll see how he and the Jets fare in Dallas.
