Montreal’s injured list reduces by one tonight, as Tomas Tatar makes his way back in and takes his regular spot next to Phillip Danault. He’ll be looking at Cole Caufield on the opposite wing, trying to set up the Habs rookie for a few more shots than he’s been able to get in the past couple of games.

Tatar’s return means someone has to leave the lineup to make room, and that means the end of the Old Man Line as Michael Frolik exits after what was a fairly good run for the veteran trio.

In goal, Cayden Primeau gets dropped into a touch matchup in the Habs’ second game of a back-to-back. He was very solid in the last game he played versus the Ottawa Senators on May 1, allowing two goals in his second NHL victory. He’ll have to limit the offence of the Leafs, and get a much better performance from the group of players in front of him than the Canadiens mustered last night, if he is to earn his third.
