Cédric Paquette did not return with his teammates for the second period of Tuesday’s game versus the Los Angeles Kings. The team has announced he will not return to the contest.
Cédric Paquette ne reviendra pas au jeu ce soir.

Cedric Paquette won't return to the game tonight.#GoHabsGo
Paquette was playing the game as the fourth-line centre, a role he’s held for much of the season. The Canadiens do have a reserve centreman on the 23-man roster, and if this turns out to be a long-term issue, Adam Brooks could draw back in for Thursday’s game versus the Calgary Flames, assuming Jonathan Drouin isn’t ready to return then.
