In the second period of Game 3, Jake Evans took a hard hit into the boards from Brandon Tanev, and was obviously woozy as he fell to the ice. He was helped to the dressing room after a discussion with the trainer, and is unable to return to the game.

Jake Evans will not return tonight.
Evans was playing in his first NHL post-season game, getting a chance on the fourth line as Claude Julien made a tweak to the Game 2 lineup. Unfortunately, he was only able to play 5:40 seconds in his debut.
He was forced to miss a lot of time after a serious concussion sustained at the Rookie Showcase in the summer of 2018. If that is the issue he’s now dealing with from this hit, we’ll all hope the effects won’t linger for the young Habs prospect.
