[Injury Report] Alex Belzile will not return after a hit into the end boards

Alex Belzile left the game after a hit into the end boards in the second period. The team has announced that he will not return to the game.

Belzile had only had one shift in the first, but got a good chance at the side of the net in the middle frame. After the whistle, he was checked by Jake Muzzin, and sent flying back-first into the boards.

Belzile was getting his first shot in the NHL, hoping to impress and possible force himself into the lineup, Unfortunately for him, that debut was a very short one. He does have a history of concussion issues, so the main hope is that he won’t feel any lingering effects from this collision.
