[Injury Report] Tomas Tatar is done for the night with an upper-body injury

He returned late in the first, but has been ruled out of the remainder of the game.

Tomas Tatar appeared to go into the boards awkwardly in the first period, and missed several shifts as he was attended to. He returned to the bench for the final minutes of the first, but then didn’t come back out for the second period.

Since he was able to come back, and seemed capable of going back in, the move could have been done for precautionary reasons to prevent Tatar from aggravating things. It’s possible he will be good to go on Thursday in Tampa Bay, but we’ll find that out later this week.

Tatar was our Player of the Month for February, and had six points in the three games before tonight’s contest.
