Charles Hudon has been named as the Laval Rocket’s representative for the 2020 AHL All Star Game to be held in Ontario, California.
The All-Star weekend will be January 26-27 with the Skills Competition on the Sunday followed by the game on Monday.
He is tied for seventh in AHL goal scoring with 15 goals. Every player ahead of him has played more than the 24 games he has played. He has added two assists. The Rocket forward also played nine games with the Montreal Canadiens this season.
Hudon has been dealing with a lower-body injury since being sent down and has been playing through an injury that has seen him on crutches. It remains to be seen whether he will accept the invitation to the game or whether he will take the extra rest.
He was the co-winner of the 2015 All-Star Most Valuable Player award. He scored three goals and added an assist in that game.
