The Canadiens have landed in New Brunswick to take on the Florida Panthers in the NHL’s annual Hockeyville game. There is a good number of depth players on tonight’s roster, as you’d expect for such a pre-season excursion, but there are plenty of recognizable names as well.

Jonathan Drouin will play his second consecutive game in what has been an encouraging training camp so far. He takes Brendan Gallagher’s place on the team’s top trio that will feature Tomas Tatar and Phillip Danault.

It’s also a second straight outing for Charles Hudon, tonight getting to play with Jesperi Kotkaniemi after putting in good work alongside Nick Suzuki and Jordan Weal in previous action.

Cale Fleury will get his chance to follow up a very good match versus New Jersey on Monday. Jeff Petry and Ben Chiarot will take the brunt of the work versus the squad the Panthers have sent North.

The Panthers will counter with what looks to be a very strong skating corps, so it will be a good test for those Habs fighting (hopefully not so literally tonight) for their place.
