Canadiens vs. Devils: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey Devils are down to their final four games of the regular season. For the Habs, that will bring about the end of the 2017-18 campaign. For the Devils, they’re hoping it’s just the start of a deep playoff run.

They go into the game sitting as the second wild-card team in the East. A win by the Philadelphia Flyers this afternoon made the gap to the next position three points, and the Devils will want to keep pace in hopes of snatching that position away before the season comes to an end.

They will once again turn to Taylor Hall to help keep them in position for a post-season berth. He set a 26-game scoring streak the last time he faced the Canadiens, only to have it broken in his next game. Unfazed, he is now riding a new seven-game streak, during which he has five goals and seven assists.

Kerby Rychel will make his Canadiens debut tonight, getting into his first NHL game in over two years. He will be the top player to watch for Habs fans after tearing it up in his tenure with the AHL’s Laval Rocket this season.
