[Injury Report] Rinat Valiev will miss the remainder of the game with a leg injury

The defenceman had his feet taken out in an awkward collision behind the net.

Staying down on the ice for a several seconds after a hit behind his net, Rinat Valiev has been deemed unable to continue in tonight’s game.

It was just his second game with the Canadiens since being recalled from he AHL.

He joins a gowing list of injured blue-liners for the team, which may need to tap into what remains of their minor-league depth for their next game on Saturday afternoon.
