Shea Weber has had surgery on the foot that was injured in the first game of the season. The team announced that his recovery is expected to take six months.

That would mean he’ll only be able to start training for the 2018-19 season in mid-September, when most players are wrapping up their summer workouts and getting themselves into game shape.
