The Canadiens lost their second consecutive game last night, allowing just two goals to what stands as the NHL’s top offensive trio, yet only managing to net one themselves.

Tonight they’ll hope to significantly improve on their pace of one goal every 120 minutes that they’re posting this week, and a match with the Coyotes should allow for that offensive outburst to happen. Arizona has allowed at least three goals in each of their last seven games, so there will be no excuse for a lacklustre showing in the oppostion’s end tonight.

Max Domi should be the player the most fired up on Montreal’s side. He was traded after three season with the team, and is now on pace for the best season of his career. He’ll be happy to show the management team of the Coyotes that they made a mistake.

There will be a similar feeling for Alex Galchenyuk on the opposite side, facing his old team for the first time. You can expect to be both players pushing hard to get their names on the scoresheet in tonight’s contest.
