2018 IIHF World Championship schedule: May 10, 2018

Group A Preliminary Games

10:15 AM ET: Slovakia (1-0-1-1, 4 pts, T-4th) vs France (1-0-0-2, 3 pts, 6th)

This is one of the key matchups as we head towards the end of the round robin. Both of these teams can all-but-clinch a quarterfinal spot and positioning could be the difference between Canada and Latvia in the next round.

The game will be shown on TSN 1, 4 in Canada.

2:15 PM ET: Czech Republic (0-2-0-1, 4 pts, T-4th) vs Russia (3-0-0-0, 9 pts, 1st)

The Russians, usually known for scoring goals, have yet to allow a goal in three games, outscoring opponents 20-0. The Czechs are coming off of a hard-fought 5-4 shootout win over Switzerland.

The game will be shown on TSN 5 in Canada.

Group B Preliminary Games

10:15 AM ET: United States (2-1-0-0, 8 pts, 2nd) vs Latvia (1-1-0-1, 5 pts, T-4th)

The United States have a huge opening to claim top spot after Finland was upset by Denmark on Wednesday. Latvia and Bob Hartley will be looking to continue the momentum from their win over South Korea.

The game will be on TSN 5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the USA.

2:15 PM ET: Canada (2-0-1-0, 7 pts, 3rd) vs Norway (0-1-1-1, 3 pts, 7th)

Canada has added Marc-Edouard Vlasic to the fold after the San Jose Sharks were eliminated and are looking for their third straight win. A win in regulation would move them ahead of Finland. Norway is coming off of a 7-0 loss to Finland on Tuesday.

The game will be on TSN 1,3,4 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the United States.

All games shown on TSN will be streamed on TSN Go in Canada, but it requires a subscription to TSN. NHL Network in the US will be showing games as well, but listings did not always confirm which games will be shown.
