The Hamilton Bulldogs got a critical victory in last night’s game, peppering Swift Current Broncos goaltender Stuart Skinner with 56 shots and forcing their way to the two goals needed to seal the win. Montreal Canadiens prospect Will Bitten had six of those shots, but has been unable to hit the scoresheet yet in the tournament.
His third and final chance in round-robin play comes tonight, as his team plays the QMJHL champion Titan. A win tonight secures Hamilton a spot in the playoff round, and it will be interesting to see if they can follow up last’s night dominant showing against the team that has looked to be the one to beat at the tournament.
