Canadiens vs. Rangers Game Four: Game Thread, Rosters, Start Time, and Stream Link

Can the Habs take a stranglehold of the series and return home with a 3-1 lead?

Following a convincing win in the third game of the series that saw the Habs outplay the Rangers by a wide margin, the two teams renew hostilities tonight at Madison Square Garden.

It’s a pivotal game for Montreal, as they can take a 3-1 series lead back to Montreal, and are poised to continue their dominance of the Rangers. The Habs came out with all cylinders firing last time around, with every line and defensive pairing efficiently both shutting down the Rangers and creating chance after chance in the offensive zone. Montreal has been better than the Rangers in almost every category; puck possession, special teams, scoring chances, you name it.

Alex Galchenyuk looked like his old self since being promoted to the third line, Alex Radulov is continuing his impressive play in the post season, and the line of Paul Byron, Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher continuously creates chances. The addition of Torrey Mitchell to the fourth line has paid off as well.

Not to mention, Artturi Lekhonen is heating up, and he's a player who hits a different gear in the playoffs. Look out for him to have an impressive outing, as the young Finn has been impressive so far.

No line up changes for the Canadiens, as the lines and defensive pairings will be the same as game three.
