Can the Canadiens take command of the series in New York?

It’s time for this show to hit the road!

After a riveting and spine-tingling performance that almost burned down the Bell Centre Friday night, these two teams faceoff on a fresh sheet of ice in what until moments from now has been an ominously quiet building sitting in wait to be electrified into life.

With two games in the books, the Canadiens and Rangers are close in most categories, however, the Canadiens have the edge in all five-on-five categories except for shooting percentage, where the Canadiens are sporting a 4.35 percent success rate.

Alex Galchenyuk has been moved from the fourth line wing to center a third line between Andrew shaw and Arturri Lehkonen. Galchenyuk played 21:09 and had five shots on goal as well as an assist on the game-tying goal in Friday’s win after being moved up from the fourth line at the beginning of the second period.

Nikita Nesterov, who had another rough night in his second playoff game with the Habs, will be scratched tonight making way for Brandon Davidson to make his playoff debut.

Torrey Mitchell will also return to the lineup, in place of Andreas Martinsen, who was -10 CF in the first two games of the series.

Puck Drop is 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PST
