Do you hear that?

Wherever you may be, if you listen closely enough you can hear the gradual swell of Canadiens fans awakening to their team’s first playoff gameday. The sound will at first tickle your ears like a breeze, until, before long 7PM arrives and that breeze has become an explosion of inescapable noise.

But don’t cover your ears. Don’t be afraid. There’s only one thing you can do: embrace it, and make some noise of your own. Go Habs Go!

The Habs are on a run of six wins in their past eight games, while the Rangers struggled down the stretch, winning only three of their last ten. Henrik Lundqvist has also struggled, winning only four his past ten starts dating back to February 23.

Shea Weber returns to the lineup tonight after missing the final four games with a lower body injury. Jordie Benn will also be back after missing six game, meaning the only regular missing from the Canadiens lineup with an injury is Alexei Emelin who is still nursing a lower body injury.
