Canadiens lines at practice: Brian Flynn joins the injured list

New, comments

After leaving last night’s game, Flynn joins Alex Radulov and Tomas Plekanec on the sidelines

Less than 24 hours after an overtime win in Vancouver, the Montreal Canadiens returned to practice in Calgary, and there was one less healthy body with them.

Brian Flynn missed practice, and joined Alexander Radulov and Tomas Plekanec on the sidelines, and with that Michael McCarron rejoined a regular line.

Claude Julien understandably doesn’t want to change too many things up front as things have been going pretty well despite a rising number of injuries.

On the blue line, Alexei Emelin again skated with Nikita Nesterov and Brandon Davidson skated with Jeff Petry, perhaps another sign that the defence will not change from last night.

Davidson looked quite good in his Habs debut.

The Canadiens still have 12 healthy forwards if none of the injured players return. Their next game will be Thursday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern against the red hot Flames.

It is expected that Carey Price will get the start in that game.

Update: Radulov did eventually make it to the ice and practiced today.
