Jonathan Drouin was not on the Montreal Canadiens’ bench to start the third period, and it has been announced that he will not return to the game.

The nature of the injury isn’t known, and he didn’t seem to be labouring in any fashion at the end of the second period. Hopefully the injury isn’t too serious, as Drouin has been one of the most dynamic forwards for the team in recent games.
