Medical update - Al Montoya: concussion - out indefinitely.
When the injury was sustained was not announced, but Montoya was dazed by a shot from Dustin Byfuglien in his last start versus the Winnipeg Jets. The goalie immediately signalled that he needed a stoppage in play, and had to be steadied as he skated to the bench to have his mask fixed.

Montoya was not remove from that game to undergo concussion protocol, instead returning to the game after a short break.
Charlie Lindgren has taken the four starts since that game, and with Carey Price also out, the rookie may be seeing the crease for a while yet.
