Canadiens vs. Stars: game thread, rosters, start time, lines, and how to watch

The Habs continue their road trip with a clash with the Stars

NHL: Dallas Stars at Montreal Canadiens Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off of a win last night in Nashville, the Canadiens are in action tonight visiting the Dallas Stars.

The story with the Canadiens has been their incredible resilience amidst all the injuries they’ve suffered. Their past four games have all been decided in extra time, with the Canadiens putting up more than 30 shots in three of those encounters.

Alexander Radulov has led the charge offensively for Montreal with 5 points in the stretch, followed closely by Max Pacioretty (4), Paul Byron (4), and Shea Weber (3).

On the opposing side, the Stars come into 2017 having won three of their last four games and sit in the tenth spot in the west. They are being led by point-per-game player Tyler Seguin with 38 points, followed closely by Jamie Benn with 34.

Benn, who has five points in his last three games, is day-to-day with a foot injury he sustained during Dallas’ last confrontation with the Panthers. The Stars are also managing additional injuries to forwards , Antoine Rousell, Matthias Janmark, and Ales Hemsky.
