Can the Canadiens get their second win on the road in two nights?

NHL: Minnesota Wild at Montreal Canadiens Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

The Canadiens followed up a tough loss to the Washington Capitals on Monday night with a big win in Winnipeg last night that saw them tally seven goals.

On the other hand, the Habs also gave up four goals last night in Winnipeg. Tonight’s matchup with one of the NHL’s most stingy teams - the Minnesota Wild, who have only allowed 83 goals in 39 games played - should prove to be a less offensively-fueled affair.

The Canadiens and Wild have pretty much identical records with the Habs at 26-10-6 and the Wild 25-9-5. Both teams have world class goaltenders and both teams like to be hard to play against.

When these two teams met just before Christmas in Minnesota, the Canadiens actually dominated for long periods of the game, but were unable to maintain a lead and ended up losing 4-2, giving the Wild their ninth win a row.

Carey Price will be looking to redeem that loss tonight, as well as a 4-1 loss Monday night. Carey Price has lost two games in a row in regulation just once this season (@ANA, @SJ on November 29 and December 2).
