Washington Capitals at Pittsburgh Penguins
(The Penguins lead the series 2-1.)
Washington almost let Pittsburgh take a stranglehold on the matchup, by allowing them to score two late goals in the third period to tie the game. But fortunately for the Capitals, they avoided falling behind 3-0 in their series thanks to an overtime winner by deadline acquisition Kevin Shattenkirk.
The story of the night was definitely Sidney Crosby’s brain injury, at the hands of Matt Niskanen and Alex Ovechkin. The concussion will keep him out of action for game four. He’s not the only Penguin missing from the lineup with a concussion, given that Conor Sheary will miss the game due to some friendly fire from Patric Hornqvist.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers
(Edmonton leads the series 2-1)
Cam Talbot stole the show for his team early in this series, but the Ducks managed to solve him throughout game three, to the tune of six goals against, including a Rickard Rakell marker just 25 seconds into the game.
Despite the loss, it was Connor McDavid who once again found himself on the highlight reel, following this ridiculous goal:
