2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Open thread, live stream, and how to watch Monday’s game
The top two teams in the East are the only ticket in town tonight.
Washington Capitals at Pittsburgh Penguins
After a tough result in Game Two after controlling the majority of the play for the first half of the game, the Capitals now find themselves down 2-0 in their second-round series with the Penguins.
Braden Holtby had a a difficult night, eventually being replaced by backup Philipp Grubauer for the third period, but the change wasn’t enough to inspire the comeback. Holtby gets the call once again for his team, and will need to be much better to help his side win a game in Pittsburgh and turn the Eastern Conference Semifinal into the series you’d expect from the teams with the best records from the regular season.
Puck Drop is 7:30 PM EDT / 4:30 PM PDT
