2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Open thread, live stream link, schedule for Predators vs Ducks, game one

Anaheim Ducks vs. Nashville Predators

And then there were four.

The Anaheim Ducks prepare to face the Nashville Predators in the Western Conference final, and despite enjoying a much more successful season in terms of points, they seem to be the underdog in this series.

And the reason is quite obvious: The Predators have looked unstoppable. After sweeping the 2015 Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks in the first round, the Predators made quick work of the Blues in the second round. They’re led by their four-headed monster, composed of Ryan Ellis, P.K. Subban, Roman Josi, and Mattias Ekholm. Not to mention Pekka Rinne, who’s sporting a ridiculous save percentage through two rounds (.951).

That being said, it would not be wise to underestimate the Ducks. They did manage to beat the Oilers in the second round, and the fact of the matter is they won their division. This series has all the makings of an exciting match-up.

Puck Drop is 9:00 PM EDT / 6:00 PM PDT
