St. Louis Blues vs. Nashville Predators (NSH leads 3-2)
The Predators attempted to eliminate the Blues in five games, but it was not meant to be, as Jaden Schwartz scored early in the third period to push the series to a sixth game. The Blues put 32 shots on Pekka Rinne’s net, and were clearly the better team as they faced elimination from the NHL playoffs.
The series returns to Nashville, which has proven to be a great battleground for the Predators this spring. They’re undefeated at the Bridgestone Arena, partly thanks to the fantastic atmosphere created by their fans. If they punch their ticket to the Conference Finals you can expect the Nashville crowd to show us why they’re quickly becoming one of the loudest fan bases in the NHL.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers (Ana leads 3-2)
I went to bed on Friday night as the Oilers held a 3-0 lead over the Ducks late in the second period, confident that Edmonton would finish game five with a 3-2 series lead.
Cue the comeback.
Ryan Getzlaf, Cam Fowler, and Rickard Rakell scored in the last frame to push the game to overtime, where Corey Perry tilted the series in favour of Anaheim when he was left unguarded and beat Cam Talbot.
It’s do or die for the young Oilers this evening, although you get the sense that this is the beginning of their playoff success, and even if they lose to the Ducks there’s a lot to look forward to for Edmontonians.
