Yesterday saw Team White cruise to a 2-0 victory over Team Red at the Canadiens practice facility, in Brossard. Newcomer Alex Radulov stole the show during the first scrimmage by having a hand in both goals scored.

First he was awarded a penalty shot due to a solid effort while exiting his zone. He made no mistake, using his great release to fool Charlie Lindgren and break the ice for Team White. Later Phillip Danault was also given a penalty shot, but his attempt was foiled by a clever Zachary Fucale poke check. Shortly thereafter, Team White guaranteed their victory following some smart passing in the offensive zone, which culminated with a goal from Greg Pateryn.

The players are back in action today, as the second training camp scrimmage starts at 11 am EDT, and you can watch it over at RDS.

2016 first-round pick Mikhail Sergachev will be out of action again today, as he’s recovering from an upper-body injury.
