Alexander Radulov is the biggest free agent acquisition for the Montreal Canadiens heading into the new season. Today, he met the media in Brossard for the first time, answering a flurry of questions from various media personalities. Here are some of the highlights.

Naturally, one of the things the media members were most interested about was his first stint in the NHL, which ended rather tumultuously. He was very pointed about the fact that he wants to look forward, and not dwell on the past.

He noted that he was younger when all of that happened, and the situation was different. He said he's very excited to be back in the NHL, and Montreal in particular.

He also noted that his family is as excited to come to Montreal as he is. Based on what he said, it seems very likely that he has no intention of absconding back to Russia any time soon, and he's here to stay.

And he believes that Montreal is the place where he can eventually raise the Stanley Cup.

Welcome to Montreal, Alex. I hope you score many goals.
