Part One of P.K. Subban's exclusive interview with Sportsnet

Subban broke his silence with a sit down interview

Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

P.K. Subban had his first on camera interview since the trade with Eric Engels of Sportsnet. Part one aired last night with part two coming tonight. The entire interview is 40 minutes and will be posted online after the second part airs tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern on Sportsnet Central.

Subban is disappointed in a lot of things and one of those things is never fulfilling the promise of bringing a Stanley Cup to Montreal.

"It was a dream come true for me to play with the Montreal Canadiens, and the sad thing is that my promise to the city of bringing a Stanley Cup back and wanting to win one, I won’t be able to fulfill that promise," he said in the interview.

He also touches on his reaction to the trade, and to his critics especially thinking there were other motivations for his donation to the Montreal Children's Hospital.
