Canadiens vs. Hurricanes Game Thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

Charlie Lindgren makes his NHL debut in the Habs' final road game of the season.

The Habs will use their fifth goalie for the season, with Charlie Lindgren getting the net tonight as part of his deal in signing with the team. The much sought after collegiate tender had a record of 30-9-1 with the  St. Cloud State Huskies, posting a 2.13 goals against average and 0.925 save percentage.

The Habs fumbled again in their most recent game, falling 4-1 to the Panthers, a team that is destined to win the Atlantic Division which is something the Canadiens believed they would be doing at this time of year. With two games to go and Carey Price (as well as P.K. Subban) officially shut down, all that's left to play for is pride.

Alex Galchenyuk sits two goals shy of hitting the thirty goal mark for the first time in his career, and after going five games without a goal, Galchenyuk found the net with one his patented one-timers on Tuesday night, and can hopefully get it done two more times before the season is up. Meanwhile, Max Pacioretty has 27 goals, and if he's not too busy setting up Galchenyuk for one-timers, he'll be doing his best to reach the 30-goal mark for the fourth time in his career.

Lineup Notes: Mike Brown is back in the lineup in place of John Scott who's season is over after Tuesday's loss to the Panthers; Charlie Lindgren will make his NHL debut.

Draft Lottery Update: The Habs have the eighth best chance at 6% of drawing the first overall pick on April 30th, with the Leafs topping the chart with a 20% probability.

The puck drops at 7:00 PM EST.
