Can the Canadiens rebound against the Panthers after an epic collapse Saturday?

Is there a bigger sign of the times than the fact that John Scott debuting for the Habs tonight is a grand event? With three games left in the regular season, and this being the final of two at home, the Habs are bidding farewell to their fans this week for the year, and why not include Scott in the festivities, considering how he was treated by the league back in mid-January, two weeks before the All-Star game the NHL tried to prevent him from playing in.

The Habs will see another big-league debut tonight on the blue line, with 24 year old Ryan Johnston set to play his first career NHL game in place of Brett Lernout who suffered an upper body injury in Saturday's loss to the Panthers on Saturday. Andrew wrote an article earlier today about this momentous event, as the Habs have set a record this year for how many defensemen they've used this season (15).

The Panthers won 4-3 in Toronto last night, cementing their position atop the Atlantic Division standings further, now a full four points up on the Tampa Bay Lightning with each team having three games left to play. The Panthers can seal up the Division win by beating the Habs tonight, so they'll be hungry to get that done.

The puck drops at 7:30 PM EST.
