In addition the team has also recalled Angelo Miceli and Brandon McNally. Miceli has seven goals and 12 assists with the Beast and McNally has just a single assist in seven games.
With Michael Bournival, Markus Eisenschmid, Lucas Lessio and Daniel Carr nursing injuries, the IceCaps needed the influx of bodies going into a crucial weekend series against Utica. Still reeling from a brutal January, St. John's will need to collect a few wins this weekend to keep pace in the AHL's North Division.
The IceCaps will be wearing special commemorative jerseys this weekend, in honour of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment.
