Mike Condon made a great save one minute into the first period after a turned over puck found its way to Nazem Kadri alone in front of the net for a clear shot that Condon stopped with his blocker. The Habs were guilty of a couple of turnovers early on in all zones, and gave up a couple of odd-man rushes as a result.

The Leafs capitalized on a Habs' turnover that created a two-on-one ending with Matt Hunwick potting home a rebound created by Brendan Leipsic who shot it perfectly at Condon's pad to put the visiting team up 1-0.

Alex Galchenyuk continues to produce, scoring the tying goal less than two minutes after the Leafs opened the scoring. Here's a look at Galchenyuk's beautiful goal:

The Habs were leading by a 16-11 margin in shot attempts before Max Pacioretty took a penalty with under two minutes left in the first period. The Leafs fired off five shot attempts, but could not beat Mike Condon who has been solid so far.
