The Habs announced that yet another defenceman has succumbed to injury. This time it's Nathan Beaulieu.
#Habs advise Beaulieu will miss 2-3 weeks with a lower body injury suffered vs Predators on Monday.

This is the third defenceman to fall in battle recently, joining Tom Gilbert and Jeff Petry on the lengthy list of injured Montreal Canadiens players.
Beaulieu was injured by Colin Wilson, who shoved him into the goal post on Monday. There was no penalty call on the play.

This leaves the Habs with an utterly underwhelming defensive group. On the flip side, it may open up a spot to see what a player like Morgan Ellis can do at the NHL level.
Unfortunately, it would have also been a perfect opportunity to see what Jarred Tinordi can do with an extended run, but such is life.
