The Habs look to get back on the winning track in Carolina

NHL: Montreal Canadiens at Carolina Hurricanes James Guillory-USA TODAY Sports

The Montreal Canadiens are in Raleigh tonight to play the Carolina Hurricanes. Like they have since their last surprise playoff appearance, the Hurricanes are a decidedly mediocre with a .500 record.

With Alexander Radulov still out with illness, the Habs have called up Charles Hudon. With the team not taking the pre-game skate this morning, it cannot be assumed that Hudon will be in the lineup, but we likely won’t know for sure until the team takes to the ice for warm up.

Al Montoya will get the start for the Habs as Carey Price will be starting tomorrow against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Cam Ward is in the net for the Canes. In net the Habs hold the advantage, even though Ward has been known to pull off the odd spectacular game against the Habs.

Puck Drop is 7:30 PM EST / 4:30 PM PST
