PK Subban named to the All-Star Game roster

New, comments

On Wednesday the National Hockey League unveiled their All-Star Game rosters.

P.K. Subban was the only Montreal Canadien to receive an invitation to the annual celebration of the best players in the NHL.

This is his first nomination to the All-Star Game in six seasons of play in the League. He was part of the rookie team in 2010-2011, but did not take part in the actual game. He was part of the skills competition however where he famously wore Jeff Skinner's jersey for the shootout skills competition.

Last season's omission to the game was widely criticized by the majority of media who were surprised at the decision to leave him off the team, despite his marketable personality and elite level skill.
