Just before the halfway mark of the second, the Leafs were able to get one back and climb within a goal of the Canadiens. While the Habs had been largely dominant, their recent streak of terrible luck could not permit said dominance to give them an easy win.
And that dominance was largely reversed throughout the second period. Toronto managed to climb back into the contest, not only on the scoresheet but in terms of momentum as well. The Habs will need a better third period if they want to walk away with two points tonight.
