Red vs. White game highlights: Alex Galchenyuk shines

All the highlights from the final intrasquad game before the preseason.

If one thing was clear during the Red vs. White game, it's that Alex Galchenyuk is at the top of his game. He scored twice as part of a 6-2 win for team White, and looked really good in the process.

Daniel Carr opened the scoring, coming off a nice move where he muscled his way to the front of the net and willed the puck past Dustin Tokarski.

Zack Kassian got a great chance to score on a wrap around early, but just couldn't manage to bury it.

The invite who's been turning heads, Angelo Miceli, gets a nice chance of his own, but Holloway can't follow up on the rebound.

Tim Bozon got himself a great scoring chance, but unfortunately he was up against Carey Price, and couldn't bury it.

Tomas Fleischmann was awarded a penalty shot in the second. He came in with speed, froze Dustin Tokarski with a pump fake, and then beat him with a quick shot. So far it seems to have been a pretty good try out for Fleischmann.

Alex Galchenyuk scored an absolute beauty on Carey Price, with a little help from a nifty slap pass delivered by his linemate Alex Semin.

Sven Andrighetto got in on the action, taking a sweet feed from Charles Hudon and making no mistake in tight to the net.

Galchenyuk scored another goal down low, and he looked absolutely fantastic all game long.

Lars Eller got tripped up, but popped himself right back up, went to the net and cashed in a nice little 'good work ethic' type of goal.

Christian Thomas did a pretty solid impression of a Brendan Gallagher goal.

And finally, here's some vintage Dutch Gretzky, as Dale Weise goes backhand on a breakaway for a sweet goal.
