  • After having scored not one but four golden goals for Team Canada, Marie-Philip Poulin is looking forward to lacing up for the Montreal Stars. Poulin has kept busy promoting the Stars and training for the upcoming season, but deflects any comparisons to Sidney Crosby. [Montreal Gazette]

"I’m a little shy every time I hear that," she said, her two Olympic gold medals not on display but brought out only for speaking engagements and to show excited kids. "I’m just trying to play hockey and help promote the women’s game.
