The Montreal Canadiens have been desperately searching for help on the wing, and they seem to have found a player that could fit the bill.
The Canadiens agree to terms on a one-year contract (2015-16) with free agent forward Alexander Semin.

Alex Semin, 31, was recently bought out by the Carolina Hurricanes, and had been actively seeking to stay in the NHL, admitting that he'd accept a one-year deal.
We'll have more news as this develops.
Update: Marc Bergevin not only found a quality winger, but he found him for a basement bargain price of only $1.1M

Essentially this is a low risk, high reward signing that comes with an incredibly low price tag. Fantastic work by Marc Bergevin, who has been working the phones all summer trying to find a skilled winger to help alleviate the current scoring woes.
