Max Pacioretty returned to the Canadiens lineup for Game 2 in Montreal on Friday night. His impact was large and immediate, as his second period power play goal was an equalizer for the Habs in a big spot.
Nearly halfway through the middle frame, Pacioretty created some space for himself on the man-advantage and received a pass from David Desharnais. That's when Pacioretty was able to channel the scoring touch we've seen so many times this season, beating Andrew Hammond through the five-hole to tie the game at 1-1.
