The Habs were relentless in the first but could not break through with a goal.

Bob Cole is calling the game tonight- what a dandy.

The New England crowd is lively, demanding justice on every play. The Habs had some chances on the power play and moved the puck very well, but couldn't break through. They finished the period with 11 shots on goal.

Alexi Emelin stays in the lineup because he's the king at blocking an open a net. The rigging on the Habs end of the glass spat out a few errant pucks, but the bounces could not be capitalized by any Bruin.

It's been a tight game, even with the Habs outshooting the Bruins 11-7. The second period is up next.
