Canadiens vs Flyers second period thread

The Habs are down 1-0 to the Flyers to start the second period.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

With a win tonight, Carey Price can capture a 30th regular season win for the third time in his career, and surpass Bill Durnan for third most goalie wins in Habs history with his 209th win.

Matt Read put a damper in Carey's chances with high velocity shot that put the Flyers up 1-0 early in the first period. If not for Carey Price's ability to follow a puck with the focus on a Jedi, the Flyers would have gone up 2-0 on a clear-cut Claude Giroux breakaway with barely five minutes played in the period.

Although that first period was like a dentist's visit, the Habs are only down by one goal headed into the second period.
