The Habs powerplay is still clicking. We've seen a lot better movement from them with the man advantage, more creative puck movement from down-low to the point, utilizing threats from both the point and from making room in the slot. Although Arizona is rated 27th on the penalty-kill, this will build some confidence for two key factors of success: the power play and Alex Galchenyuk.
Alex Galchenyuk has taken his development path and run with it. We can criticize or praise the direction set out for him, but he's proven that he's willing to take responsibility for his own development, and that's the sign of a good player in the making.
Bob Cole chronicling the game always gives it a certain nostalgia. All that's missing this afternoon is Harry Neale. His drunken banter would bring me right back to 1994.
