Canadiens vs. Hurricanes third period thread

Daniel Carr and Sven Andrighetto have goals for the Habs. It's 2-2 with 20 minutes to go.

Max Pacioretty returned to the game after leaving in first period as a result of an errant Dale Wise high stick. The second period started slow with the Canadiens relegating the Canes to just two shots on net in the first ten minutes, while themselves connecting for six shots on net.

Another recent Icecaps call-up, Sven Andrighetto, scored his third goal in seven games since being called up to put give the Habs a 2-1 lead. The lead would be short-lived, Andrej Nestrasil took a backhand shot from ten feet out that Condon could not contain, and Joakim Nordstrom jumped on the rebound and slid it past Condon for his first goal of the season.

After the Canes scored, they took a a huge jump in shot attempts and possession, but they weren't hitting the net. The Canes only hit the net twice on fifteen shot attempts, and the Canadiens survived the period and head into the third with a tie on their hands.
