The Habs still trail 1-0 heading into the third period.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

The Habs came out firing, putting up six shot attempts within the first two minutes of the second period. As the period progressed, the Wild and Habs matched each other in possession and shots on net. The Habs finished the period with a 37-33 CF lead, however, only 15 of their 37 attempts hit the net.

Michel Therrien is rolling his top three with fairly equal deployment. Max Pacioretty and David Deshnarnais top forward icetime with over 11 minutes each, while P.K. Subban leads all defensemen with 17:40.

The Habs have scored an average of one goal over their past five games. They are still just down by one in this one, but will need to dig deep to find a goal, as just one has been hard enough for them to get as it is.
