After a long wait to finally crack an NHL lineup, it looks like Bud Holloway will have to wait a little bit longer to make it a permanent move. Holloway was demoted to St. John's just before tonight's game at home against the Devils, where his presence is greatly needed.
Canadiens assigned forward Bud Holloway to the @IceCapsAHL tonight. The IceCaps are facing the Marlies tomorrow in Toronto.

With just 7:19 of ice time in his debut, he didn't have the biggest chance to make an impact on the fourth line, and was replaced by Christian Thomas. With 5 goals and 15 assists, he is one of the AHL's top scorers, and is currently tied for the scoring lead on the IceCaps with Michael McCarron.
Holloway will likely slot right in on the top line next to Charles Hudon, and adds some sorely needed help in St. John's top six.
