Canadiens vs. Jets: Game Thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

Will the Canadiens be able to win without Carey Price?

The one scary costume nobody saw this Halloween was "injured Carey Price." The latest from coach Michel Therrien is that Price will be out for at least one week, giving Mike Condon the reins between the pipes tonight versus the Winnipeg Jets, and maybe for all four games the Habs play this week (against the Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, and Boston Bruins, as well). The good news is that all four games the Canadiens play this week are at home.

The Canadiens were able to put a stop to their losing slide with a convincing 6-2 win on Friday night in Calgary. With all six goals coming from the Canadiens' support staff, the top players will be wanting to put their best foot forward tonight as they won't be able to lean on the talent of Carey Price for at least 4 games.

The Jets have been doing very well in the highly-competitive Central Division, with as many wins as the Nashville Predators and Minnesota Wild. This is the second game of a back-to-back for the Jets, who won in Columbus last night.

Two unbeaten netminders go head to head tonight as Mike Condon puts his 3-0 record on the line against Mike Huthchinson's mark of 4-0. The weight of Carey Price's absence seems a little less heavy given how well Condon has played in those three wins, including Friday in Calgary when he was pivotal in maintaining the Canadiens' chance to win that game before they ran away with it in the third period.

The puck drops at 7:00PM EST.
