The Bronze Max Pacioretty Award

The drive by snipers, the "perimeter players", the people who give us links worth looking at. The fanshot is a great tool to post a picture, link, video, quote, tweet, or gif that you want to show off, but don't have a lot to say about. If you want to post a fanshot, you can do so from the front page, or right here. The Bronze Pacioretty Trophy is awarded to the commenter not affiliated officially with Eyes on the Prize who has posted the most fanshots. The winner of this year's award is... Simon Ledsham!

Like in 2013, the fanshot tool wasn't used very often by readers 2014, though it was used extensively by members of the EOTP staff, including 228 times by yours truly. Simon Ledsham posted the most with just two, with many readers tying for second place with one. Congrats Simon!

The Silver Tomas Plekanec Award

Often underrated, the fanpost is a lynchpin of the Eyes on the Prize community, allowing readers to share well thought out opinions and analysis that can be featured on the front page. Fanposts also help the editorial staff find new writers for the site, which keeps the community vibrant. You can write a fanpost from this link, and if it's awesome we may even feature it. The Silver Plekanec Trophy is awarded annually to the commenter not affiliated officially with Eyes on the Prize who has posted the most fanposts. The winner of this year's award is... Simon Ledsham again!

Simon Ledsham's whopping 14 fanposts were double that of 2013's winner, and double his next runner up in tito.w.sanchez. Those two were followed by habnonymous and powerplay2009, who each wrote six fanposts in 2014. Congrats Simon!

The Golden P.K. Subban Award

Awarded to the commenter not affiliated officially with Eyes on the Prize who has commented the most often, the Golden Subban Award is the most prestigious award that EOTP gives out. Without further adieu, we present this year's award to none other than... Lats!

Lats also took home the Golden Subban last year, meaning we have out first ever repeat award winner at EOTP. Lats led all commenters in 2014 with 4,347 comments, 447 more than last year. Runners up to Lats include JonPublic at 3150, turnonthejets at 2450, courtnall at 2431, one_below_infinity at 1735, punkster at 1643, and Brent Warzocha at 1585. Congrats to you all, and Lats especially for this prestigious award.
