When I woke up there was 9:16 left to play in the second period. The Habs had just recorded their first shot of the period. Carey Price had been holding his team in the game, have stopped the puck 25 times already. Seth Jones finally broke the wall Carey had been building throughout the game with a blast from the puck that appeared to be tipped by that notorious ex-hab Mike Ribeiro.
Brendan Gallagher was awake to end the period, almost lifting a backhander over the pad of Chris Hutton, but not able to lift the puck high enough. It's almost symbolic of his team's effort so far tonight.
